What areas will I be riding?
As a pedicab rider you are able to travel anywhere you would like. The most common places to ride and make your money are the harbor area by the Star of India and the Maritime Museum, Little Italy, around the important hotels such as the Hyatt and the Marriott along Martin Luther King Jr. promenade, the giant and 4th most important convention center in America, the gracious Gaslamp district, and the exotic Seaport Village with its many stores.
What kind of work would I be performing/executing?
Your title is Pedicab rider. In this fantastic environment, you will be riding a tricycle carrying one, two, or three people around the areas they would like to visit or to go to.
What do I need in order to perform the job well?
You need to be outgoing, self-motivated, and enjoy talking to people. We are not saying that more introspective people would not succeed in this job, but if you are more outgoing the chances are that you will get better tips, and therefore, make more $money$! You also need to be in good shape, or at least be willing to get into a better shape. It’s a fun job, but you will have to be exercising quite a bit You will be taking people from and to shopping, diners, bars, and in tours around the electrifying Gaslamp district and seafront.

Pedicabs are environmentally friendly taxicabs powered by a person/rider and his/her legs – Pedal + Cab = Pedicab.
What are the requirements?
- Valid driver's license from anywhere around the world, but when arriving here in California you will need to get a local driver license. This can be easily arranged with us. We will do whatever it takes to make it easy for you to get all your needed documents.
- Be at least 18 years of age, have a pedicab license, speak at least a little bit of English, be self-motivated, and have a positive attitude.
What do I need to get my pedicab liscence?
- 2" x 2" color passport photos (bring two just in case)
- Have a valid driver's license,
- Business license from the city of San Diego
- For the last, but not least, an operators permit, which you will have to carry with you at all time while riding a pedicab.
How much does it cost to get my license?
The cost of the business license, the operators permit and the photos will be approximately $100,00 all together. And you can get your license to drive a pedicab in less than three hours.

Pedicabs availability?
We currently have 30 pedicabs in our fleet which are available to you 24 hours a day. That means if you want to ride all night and all day you can. We have an automated gate, which allows you fully access to our bakeshop. The demand for our pedicabs is very high, therefore we strongly recommend that you reserve and fill out your application as quick as possible.
Will I be trained?
The answer for that is yes, of course. Most likely you will be trained by the owners who are also very experienced riders, and have been growing together with this business for five and a half years.
On your first day on the job, you will receive a training of the whole region that you will be covering with your pedicab. Also, we will be explaining to all where the good spots to make money are and the best places to go to.
